Meet the greatest time-traveling hero of the year 1,000,000 A.D. – PETER PLATINUM! Lost in time, Booster Gold is confronted by a hero a million times more self-involved than himself. But if Booster does find his way back to the present, Batman will be waiting for him.

Summay

Booster Gold and Skeets get flug to the year 1,000,000AD and meet Peter Platinum, a ego driven "hero". Rip Hunter, Supernova, and Rose Levin find Booster and take him back to present where the three then quit working for Rip.

Booster breaks up a robbery by the Royal Flush Gang, with the help of Green Arrow and Hal Jordon.

Batman orders Booster to the Batcave and asks him about some photos of Booster trying to save Barbara Gorgon. Booster explains what he's being doing and Batman gives him a pat on the back and thanks him for what he's done.

Booster then goes back to Rip to beg for his old job back and Rip surprises him with Goldstar, Booster sister. Rip explains how he saved her at the last minute.

Booster and Goldstar then take a time sphere to paris 1889 for lunch. Once Rip is all alone he reveals that Booster Gold is his father.

Epilogue

A shadowy figure enters a hanger where the blue beetle's ship is stored and laughs.
